Description

Chris Morgan was the shareholder's representative for community and environmental studies associated with the development of the Cerro Matoso nickel mine and smelter development near Montelibano, northern Colombia.

A key aspect of the appraisal was evaluating whether to immediately integrate expatriate staff into the local community. Ultimately, a separate camp was constructed for foreign staff which was subsequently fully integrated with Montelibano.
