Description
Christopher Morgan headed a team of experts that advised the state-run mining entity Ma’aden on the development and modernisation of Saudi Arabia's mining sector.
The work included appraisals of existing gold and base metal mines as well as assessments of major new ventures (including bauxite, phosphate and gold) as well as the potential impact of such projects on a desert landscape.
Presentations together with recommendations were made to senior ministers and members of the Royal Family on the modifications to existing legislation necessary to make the internal investment climate more consistent and internationally competitive.
