One of CMA's geologists was project manager to an IMC Mackay & Schnellmann team, which had been instructed to carry out feasibility studies on the following mineral desposits located in remote parts of Greece:

  • Two lignite deposits at Amyntion, near Florina
  • Numerous kaolin deposits on Lesvos Island
  • Perlite deposits on Lesvos Island
  • Mixed soda-potash feldspar deposits in central northern Greece
  • A wollastonite deposit in eastern Greece
  • A silica sand deposit in northern Greece
  • A clay deposit in central northern Greece
