1975-1979 Diamond Distributors Exploration (DDX). Mainly based in Sierra Leone and Guinea, but also worked in Liberia, South Africa, Venezuela, United States, Portugal and Indonesia. Principally concerned with diamond exploration but also gold, beach sands and tin deposits. 1979-1981 Independent consultant. Work divided between diamond exploration (C.A.R.) and development of geostatistical routines for ore reserve estimation and monitoring of sampling programmes (Brazil, CAR). 1981-present Independent Consultant with Projects mainly in Africa. Diamond: exploration, resource/reserve estimation, project review, company review, listing and qualifying reports, mining feasibility and project management in Guinea, Sierra Leone, CAR, South Africa (onshore and offshore), Botswana, Namibia (onshore and offshore), Brazil, Guyana and Russia. Gold: exploration in Tanzania, Guinea, Laos and Yemen. Also involved in world-wide reviews leading to orientation of diamond and alluvial gold exploration programmes.
