Brief CV

Chris Morgan has over thirty years experience in the Mining, Energy and Environmental Sectors including seven years management and technical consultancy at Partner level and 20 with Billiton International Metals - previously the Metals arm of Shell International Petroleum.
From 1996 to 1998 he was Director of WMC’s activities in the Former Soviet Union based in Melbourne and Tashkent, Uzbekistan and held positions of Senior Representative WMC Uzbekistan, General Manager WMC Kazakhstan and General Director designate of the Zarmitan Mining company.
In 1999 he set up his own Consultancy Group – Chris Morgan Associates Ltd (CMA Limited) catering specifically to the Natural Resources and energy sectors.
Prior to consultancy his background was with Shell/Billiton in the management of large-scale open pit mine operations in S.America and Africa to Managing Director level, alternating with a succession of senior corporate roles and project management positions in coal, metals, environment and oil & gas. On behalf of CMA Ltd Chris has project directed major assignments in Armenia, Germany, UK, Turkmenistan, Jordan, PNG, Africa and S. America, Yemen, Egypt.
