Neil Scott is a geologist with 30 years’ experience in consultancy in the mining and minerals sectors, including the management of projects for Tacis and EES. He has worked extensively in the FSU, including Armenia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Russia. He has been involved in mineral sector studies involving the assessment of legislative and regulatory provisions in Pakistan, Sierra Leone and Zambia. Up until first quarter 2002 Neil was working as Project Manager for CMA in Turkmenistan providing Environmental Policy Advice to The Government of Turkmenistan through the Ministry of Nature Protection. The work related in particular to the Oil and Gas sector and the potential major new ventures in this sector that the Country is planning to develop. During 2002 Neil has written technical appraisals and market reviews for the global graphite and zeolite businesses.
