Robert Tallack is a Master Mariner with 30 years naval reserve experience. He has worked as a shipbroker, in ship owning and ship management as well as in the ports industry. He has been an independent consultant since 1994. Robert works to the thesis that a technical solution should have a clear commercial objective and he applys this essentially pragmatic approach to projects across the field of maritime transport and shipping with a keen eye on the opportunity for entreprenurial advantage. He also has a strong beliefe in the contribution that education and training can make to an organisation’s efficiency and he writes and lectures on maritime issues. Robert is a Foundation member and Fellow of The Nautical Institute and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Logisitics and Transport.
