Tricia has held a number of senior Corporate affairs positions with major Australian companies including WMC, Tabcorp and Turnbull, Fox Philipps and a Canadian telecommunications company. Roles have included: . Formulating company positions on key company and industry issues; • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key media, acting as a company spokesperson and preparing Board members for media interviews; • Working with key community groups and other local community stakeholders to involve them in and inform them about industry issues and company programs and initiatives • Working in concert with both formal and informal industry groups to set standards and guidelines for operating within community expectations • Overseeing the internal communication function - primarily a corporate magazine, and CEO presentations to staff; • Overseeing the design, writing, editing and production of the Annual Report, and co-ordination of the Annual General Meeting to shareholders; • Led the development of monitoring system for adherence to industry Codes of Practice; • Establishing and leading local corporate affairs function in Uzbekistan, former Soviet Union, including media relations, government relations, community affairs and internal communication • Liaising with Government regarding the project, and political and economic developments in Central Asia • Identifying and managing issues associated with mining in developing countries, including liaison with relevant non-government organisations • Developed a community affairs strategy for project development, and outlined parameters of social impact baseline study
