An environmental scientist with more than thirty years’ experience of environmental, socio-economic and health & safety issues in the mining and mineral processing industries.  Extensive field experience on greenfield sites, operating and decommissioned mines in Europe, Africa, C.I.S, South America and South-East Asia.  Specialist technical and managerial expertise in mine closure and rehabilitation, environmental and socio-economic baseline studies, environmental and social impact assessments; environmental and socio-economic due diligence; environmental, socio-economic and health & safety components of Pre-feasibility and full bankable Feasibility Studies; environmental and health & safety management; environmental toxicology; the characterisation and management of mine wastes; pollution control; and environmental monitoring.
