Chris Poncia has over 35 years’ experience with Linklaters & Paines, the World Bank, the United Nations, the Botswana Government and private law practice in:
* mining, petroleum, and infrastructure investment projects and transactions;
* legal and regulatory framework advice;
* joint venture and related transactions;
* commercial and development agency loan and equity financing;
* bilateral and multilateral investment insurance; and
* FSU and developing country institutions and practice.

He has worked with CMA on several contracts including: Drafting a new Armenian Mining Code, and its institutional structures, and environmental and fiscal provisions. Reviewing and advising on Oil and Gas petroleum law in Turkmenistan and related environmental issues Advising on Mining and Petroleum law and associated regulations in Papua New Guinea (PNG)
